What a beautiful product those bees make.
The smell of honey.
The silken texture which draws small hands to it.
Observing it's changing state.
The warmth on the skin as we worked the soft wax.
What a difference it makes when we choose to work with a natural material with such diverse qualities that truely belong to the material.
We'll be heading back to the honey man at our Farmer's Market next weekend now that there is so much discussion about more candles, grand modeling designs and batik dying.
